Pastor Rhonda is a native of Natchitoches; LA She has lived in Jonesboro, LA for the past 27 year.  She has been married to Bishop Kelvin G. Stewart for 37 years.  They have three children and three grandchildren.

Pastor Rhonda Stewart and Bishop Kelvin G. Stewart founded Rivers of Joy Ministries 28 years ago with only their three children and about ten other members. Pastor Rhonda Stewart preaches under the anointing and is highly used of God in the areas of intercession prayer and mentoring lives. She is an ordained minister and accepted the call to preach the Word of God in 2000. Her passion is encouraging souls to be saved also the Prison systems. She loves Training/Mentoring women. Her ministry has touched the lives of many men and women in the State of Louisiana, Texas, Alaska, and Mississippi. She also, is working full time in ministry to strengthen men and women into becoming successful, productive citizens by spiritually contributing to the betterment of this world.

She was nominated by The Delta Sigma Theta Alumnae chapter of Grambling State University, and given the Senator Pinkie C Wilson award.  Her Education/ Business owner: Pastor Rhonda Stewart graduated from Grambling State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems.  She has worked in the field of higher education for over 20 years. She has worked and owned /operated owner/founder of Joy Impact Counseling Services, LLC and there she served as the Director/Account Executive.

She has worked with local officials to stop or impede recidivism in Jackson Parish and the surrounding areas in their non-profit organization Joy Impact, INC.

 Pastor Rhonda and husband Bishop Kelvin Stewart have a heartfelt desire to serve the body of Christ, to expand the kingdom of God, and to assist in fulfilling the Great commission of Jesus Christ.
